Wheelchair Users’ Association – Osteoporosis and Fall Prevention

On 6^th May 2024, Our Wheelchair Users’ Association organized a gathering at Rehabaid Centre, interacted with wheelchair users, shared on their daily difficulties and latest information on barrier-free access. On that day, our physiotherapist and architect also shared on “Osteoporosis and Fall Prevention”. Due to their disability in mobility, wheelchair users and the physically disabled are more prone to osteoporosis. We introduced some exercise specific to wheelchair users and some fall prevention measures at home to help lower their risk of bone fracture.
